Truck Your Way founders are people with expertise in operations and logistics. There has been a dilemma in the construction industry, specifically regarding dump truck services, in that all jobs or orders have been based on a phone call. Early morning and late night calls would create havoc. Truck Your Way was invented to help both service providers( dump truck owners) keep ongoing work and for users( consumers) to gain control of their deliveries and hauling services. Truck Your Way provides an education on the ordering process for users and service providers to make the ordering process easy, efficient and trackable from start to finish. Upon entering the job location address, consumers are questioned with NOW or LATER service.(LATER service is an appointment delivery or hauling that can occur up to 3 months in the future that consists of a 2 hour delivery window drop down to choose from.) The next step is for consumers to order either Delivery, Hauling or Services. Delivery brings material to the consumer. Hauling removes material from the consumer. Services include: Demolition, Grading, Hardscape, Concrete, and Excavation. Once the mode of transportation is ordered, consumers are directed to order the material needed. Choices for material include: gravel, dirt, landscape, sand, recycled and stone. Consumers can determine the best material to order based on distance in miles from material location to the entered job address. They are also given a photo of the material to ensure they are ordering the correct material. There is a 5 ton minimum for every material ordered and a max of 16 tons. Tons are converted to loads on the truck cart so the consumer can see how many loads he/she is ordering. Each order creates its own unique PO number. Consumers may or may not have a promo code for a discounted rate. Payment is made through a 3rd party subsidiary of PayPal called Braintree. Braintree supplies a token of purchase and houses all personal credit card information. Consumers are given the ability to choose the Service Provider based on the following criteria: star rating, distance to material location, truck number and photo of front of the truck. In turn, Service Provides are given the freedom to accept or decline incoming orders. If the order is 81 tons or more, the consumer is asked if multiple service providers are needed to complete the job in 1 day. Once all Service Providers have been selected, the order begins its cycle all the way until the last load is delivered or hauled away with a photo proof of job completion. Service Provides are given instructions on where to go to obtain the material, the type of material to obtain, the quantity in tons or loads, and the address to take the material to or haul away from. They are also advised to upload photos of the invoice given from material locations. Service providers are given specific details about the order such as: contact name, phone number and instructions given by the consumer during the ordering process. Truck Your Way also provides for both service providers and consumers an ordering history which is displayed in ascending order from the most recently completed PO number. PO numbers are differentiated by colors tangerine orange and lime green. The same color represents the same PO number.
